The built-in elastic ensures good hold on the rain protector.
The helmet cover is easy and quick to put over a helmet and takes up very little space to carry, once folded.

Waterproof and breathable?
This product has a breathable waterproof fabric (RET = 6) that limits condensation on the inside.
We have measured its evaporative resistance (RET) using a test based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric lets water vapour produced by the body escape, and the more breathable it is.
For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric. 9 < RET < 12 = highly breathable fabric. 12 < RET 20 = slightly or not breathable fabric.
Waterproofing is:
– Water-repellent treatment
Fluorine-free chemical recipe, placed on the surface of the fabric, which allows water to slide off the surface of the component The treatment can be reactivated by heat (by using a tumble dryer – gentle cycle 10’).
– Waterproof assembly
The aim is to prevent water penetrating through the holes in the seams by using sealing strips placed under the seams.
– Waterproof component
Capacity of a fabric to prevent water penetration.
Measuring waterproofing
Waterproofing is measured in Schmerber or mmH2O (the pressure exerted by a water column).
A component with a value of 10,000 mm, withstands 10 metres of water.
The higher the number, the more waterproof the fabric.
Eco-Design
This product is made from recycled polyester to reduce its environmental impact (instead of conventional polyester, derived from petrochemical plastics). The aim is to favour the use of recycled material, transformed from production off-cuts or products destined to be thrown away, rather than using new oil resources.
